I had the privilege of attending the same Bible study as Page and Ema. It was fun to watch Page pursue Ema and celebrate with them as their relationship grew and grew. When Page asked me to be their DOC (Day of Coordinator), it was a no brainer.
I had so much fun meeting with Ema and helping with her wedding plans. Ema is a beautifully artistic gal and very organized.
Their wedding day was simply magical at Wildwood Acres Resort in Lafayette, Ca. It is lush with the majestic California Oaks and the reception area is canopied with twinkly bistro lights.
Ema’s main colors were purple and red poppies: drawing from her Japanese background and their theme was God as creator. It was gorgeous! She made the decor and I especially loved the hanging lanterns, the beautiful way the two colors complemented each other against the natural backdrop, and seeing her canvases full of scripture on display along the pathways throughout the venue.
It was a perfect evening celebrating God’s bringing these two together. It was such a blessing being a part of it.
Enjoy the gorgeous photos by the very talented Custock Photography.
